Observations of a Serial Interviewer by Steven Ra Ga

Health Care.

I think when we are young and feeling immortal we don’t put a lot of thought into our health as we age. Our jobs and everything else gets in the way of what’s really important.

Don’t believe me.

Go to a walk-in clinic early in the morning, most of the people will be 70+

That’s your future. If you are one of the lucky ones to die of old age. Then you have a life time of medical visits ahead of you.

To those that spend all their time working. Take a break or a holiday. Cause pale walls and minimalist designs await you in old age.

I spent 5 yrs of my life jobless, removing from a mental break after working 100 hrs per week in the film industry just to make enough to cover my rent.

From that what I learned it’s better to work smart than hard.

Utilizing all that you need to help you be the best at your job so you aren’t working like crazy every minute of the day.

…I digress…

Mental Health, more specifically Mens mental health.

My step father recently died of Cancer. During his decay and before the cancer got bad he had a heart attack. (At the time we didn’t know it was because of the cancer, I blamed the vaccine) during that time period his son came to town and discovered his father needed to speak with someone like a Psychiatrist.

My step father had been harbouring his feelings and mental stress for years, he was also addicted to sugar, my guess it was his comfort food to coping with stress. (There are now strong links between sugar and cancer)

After a few visits to his new psychiatrist, he told us the doc said to him “maybe you should stop watching the news”, you see for his professional career he had to watch the news to have an understanding of what was going on. CNN was his choice of media. (CNN allegedly, pushes false media and news in scare tactics to sell fear. During the pandemic this went into overtime to match the ratings they got from Trumps time in office.Allegedly)

His anxiety was always high and he was completely neurotic, so his mental state was very poor. He didn’t drink alcohol much to relax, he didn’t go to spas, he didn’t sit on a beach in Mexico, before the pandemic he did work out and he did go on walks often.

As a result his life was mostly spent working, occasionally traveling to the usual vacation spots and I think in my opinion this didn’t give him an opportunity to relax and tell someone how or what he was feeling or thinking of.

…I digress…

In todays society there is now a big push on talking about mens mental health, which goes in line with what I have always believed.

“MEN ARE MORE SENSITIVE EMOTIONALLY THAN WOMEN”

Don’t believe me, that’s okay you might still be in the matrix, allow me to enlighten you.

Social programming often shows you that women due to their lack of muscular power are inferior to men and that men are strong and can take abuse better with out crying…

But study’s now show this isn’t entirely true.

Because we now have to factor in psychopathy.

There is a percentage of the population that fall into the higher psychological norms than others which is known commonly as sociopaths and psychopaths. Medically the terminology is different.

These types of people especially found in men can have children and not be so warm and loving to them as you can imagine. Which creates more high psychopathic peoples. It’s a vicious cycle.

…but I digress…

I am back at the clinic, a post Covid infection, my neck is basically swollen. I have like 7 tonsil cysts and I am having trouble breathing…

Yay…

Seems to be a never ending cycle as of late. I didn’t do myself any favours not working out in my apartment over the Covid lockdowns, I basically just let myself go and now I am dealing with the variety of health issues that come with it.

Clinics lately are taking on the back loads of the ER and hospital due to lack of staff. Today I have waited 40mins (eating tacos and scratching lotto tickets) and only 5 people dropped off the wait list from 12.

For years doctors have been flocking to America after medical training in Canada. The system is setup to be easier for doctors to find employment in America 1st before coming back to Canada to their home city. Kinda like Alberta Beef, home grown, shipped off to America and sold back to Canadians at a premium.

It reminds me of when I worked for a clothing retailer, one company that sold their items at the store, manufacture-red everything in China and had them shipped back to Canada to often be sold to Chinese tourist…

Canada ships it’s Doctors to America to be shipped back at a premium, basically.
